The state- and county-level exposures with the highest measured levels in our samples, by measurement type. Each entry links to its registry record and to the public map filtered to that region. Rankings are within a single measurement type only — readings of different kinds (microbial copies, chemical intensity, particulate µg/m³) are not comparable.
Measurement type
This is a research surface, not a diagnosis or safety ranking. A higher position reflects a higher relative measured level among sampled regions for that measurement type — it is not a verdict about risk for any person or place.
